Employers can now reach geographically diverse areas to pull talent from. The pool of qualified talent can grow to give the company a better selection, especially in these challenging times when every employee counts. The employer will only spend money on food and lodging on candidates that it feels will most likely be hired.

Our system is designed to empower the hiring managers so the process is streamlined. Here is a sample hiring process that most companies go through currently:

  1. The Hiring manager creates a job description
  2. Approves, or gets the requisition approved
  3. Sends the job requisition along with the job description to HR
  4. HR creates a new version of the job description ready for insertion into job boards
  5. The job is posted on a job board
  6. The job board sends (or makes it available) to their subscribers
  7. HR pays for the posting, as well as for searching through resume databases
  8. A jobseeker sees the job listing and applies
  9. The resume is sent to the job board
  10. The job board sends it to HR
  11. HR tries to screen the unqualified candidates (Sometimes manually) but most of the time with the aid of an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
  12. The screened candidates are then sent to the hiring manager
  13. The hiring manager then requests to setup interviews
  14. Then conducts interviews. Sometimes HR conducts phone interviews, and then an on site one and then the hiring manager conducts the interviews.

All this can be circumvented by the hiring manager, by using the NextEmployee.com system. The employer can:

  1. Send an invitation to candidates from the list of ones the company had in its files
  2. Put a job listing in a job board and ask the jobseeker to complete the interview once the jobseeker contact the hiring manager
  3. Put a button link in the job listing that says “Interview Now” at the bottom of the listing next to the “Apply Now” button

This tool streamlines the entire process and cuts the time it takes to hire a potential candidate. Even creating a custom interview is a breeze. All that the hiring manager needs to do is:

  1. Select or type custom questions
  2. Creating the interview is done by our system.
  3. There is no video recording
  4. There is no audio recording
  5. The candidate is even given a choice to do a Video, Audio or even just a text interview.

Just like in the case of the recruiter, the Video Interview mimics a real life interview. The Virtual Interviewer is an avatar that speaks the text that was typed in by the recruiter, so the experience to the jobseeker is very unique. All this because our system applies Text-2-Speech and Lipsync technology to create the Interview. The Interviewer then asks the questions as the jobseeker answers, the system records the video and saves it in the manager’s control panel.

All this is done unattended and in a passive way, without taking up any extra time from the manager and it relieves HR of the mundane and long process of screening the candidates. Of course some parts of this can still be done by HR to help the manager even further.

Candidates are evaluated passively, and there are no “feelings to hurt” or caving into requests for another chance etc. The process is simple, and all candidates are evaluated against the same criteria. The manager, at his/her convenience reviews the saved interviews and selects ones that need to be evaluated further. The scheduling system then helps him/her schedule a live online video interview (Very similar to a Skype Video Call where both jobseeker and recruiter see each other and can conduct the live 1-on-1 interview.
